My great-grandfather, William Robert Blackburn, wrote down many of his life experiences when he was in his 70's.  My father transcribed this "journal" into WordPerfect some years later and I've now made them available on line.  William's recollections are colorful and includes characters who can be found in the local histories for many Oregon logging communities.  Enjoy, I know I certainly have.
